I was born on the sunny side of the globe, in Jamaica, where cool breezes drift through swaying palm trees and warm sunlight greets each morning. It’s a land of wood and water, where butterflies dance through the hazy air and rainbows appear when the humidity catches the light in the sky. Growing up there meant being surrounded by old grandma, mama recipes, backyard gardens filled with freshly grown, non-toxic produce, and home remedies for almost everything. Our gardens bloomed with tropical fruits, and there was always the comforting belief that a trip to the river or the beach, along with good sleep, proper rest, and the right lifestyle, could help heal almost any ailment. It sounds beautiful, and truly, it is.

I started ‘Healing the Nation’ in 2020 after using natural products and reading up on natural remedies and solutions. A lot of these healing remedies came from my elders. Who I am extremely grateful for as they helped share knowledge and their teachings. We forget that whenever we pop a pill or fill a prescription these products are all derived from a natural substance that has been enriched with minerals from up above. My aim is to fulfil a longstanding dream and provide natural solutions for everyday life. Solutions that work harmoniously with our surroundings. I am from a country Jamaica described as the 'Land of Wood and Water' and I have always believed in working with the environment and not against it. It's not always easy but taking some steps and making changes along the way will help limit the damage on our planet that we call home.
